          Grades Are Important?

i don’t think grades are important. students have different abilities， some of which can’t be measured by grades， such as creativity， abilities to communicate and express.

to start with， i wasn’t good at english and seldom got high scores in the exams. but one day， my teacher encouraged me to perform in an english play because of my good pronunciation. to perform well， i studied my lines many times and even dressed up like the character. while i was performing， i could hear my classmates cheering. later， my teacher praised me for my wonderful acting， which made me feel more confident about english learning.

all in all， grades can be a way to measure students’ achievements in schoolwork. however， different interests and abilities can make a student a better person.

1.  非限制性定语从句的使用恰当，为文章的起头增加了亮点。
2.  动词不定式充当目的状语的布局增强了文章的逻辑性。
3. while引导的时间状语从句的使用表现较强的语言运用能力。
4.  定语从句的使用增强了文章的文彩。

you have offered me so much help in my english study that i think words to express thanks are far from enough. i still remember three years ago， i had difficulties in learning english. it was difficult for me to memorize so many words and understand what people were saying. my spoken english and written english were poor too. however， i’m so lucky that i met you， a kind-hearted， smart and patient boy. firstly， you taught me to listen more and read more. and it really helped me a lot. besides， you suggested that i should watch english movies and sing classic english songs. in addition， you told me to form the habit of reading aloud in the morning and reading english novels before going to bed. as a result， i finally made great progress.
