To Learn，To Grow
Every experience is a learning experience，and we can always learn something valuable from it.
Last term，there was an English speech contest in my school.I decided to take part in it，because I thought I was good at speaking English and I had some experience in giving speeches . I was sure I could win the contest easily，so I spent little time practicing.Did I win？Of course not.The winner was Jim，one of my classmates，who had practiced after school every day.
“Practice makes perfect”，as the saying goes.No one can succeed without hard work.This is what I learned from my failure.If there’s another chance，I’ll take it seriously and do my best.
